To start, I'm going to share this video. The boys' producer wanted to propose to his girlfriend and he planned a musical journey she would go through in which various artist would play different love songs. At the end, he would get down on one knee and ask her to marry him. Guess what? Anthem Lights was one of those artists!!! Check it out the video!
There's also this proposal...which is viral right now. It's very sweet and everything...but wait until the end...Anthem Lights' original song, "Best Thing" plays in the background near the close of this guy's 365 day proposal. :)
On a slightly different note, I was on iTunes yesterday. I really don't know what's been going on with Anthem Lights' music lately. Their first cover album had been taken off Spotify and it appears that both Covers 1 and 2 were taken down from iTunes. The first cover album was put back on iTunes yesterday and is available to listen to on Spotify again. However, the second cover album is still missing from iTunes but is on Spotify, at least the last time I checked...which was yesterday. I'm not sure why their music keeps getting removed, but it could be because of license issues since it is "technically" other artists' music they are distributing. That is the reason that their Grammy nominee mashup isn't on iTunes yet (that I know of). Anyway, yesterday I went and looked at all the music they have up on iTunes and they have a new single...it's their cover of the classic song "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. Click here to check it out! Also, the boys want to do a new cover album filled with classic songs. They put out a poll on their social media (at least Facebook) asking which songs their fans want to hear in that album. You can vote on that here.
Lastly, if you follow all the boys and their wives (those who have wives) on Twitter/Instagram, you'd notice that Chad and Fallon went on vacation this past week. However, those weren't the tweets that caught my attention so much that I actually took a screenshot of them. It was these. Hopefully you'll get a good laugh out of this...it's pretty cute!
And that's what I'm going to leave you all with! Thanks so much for being a fan! We're coming up on our one-year anniversary...that means Lightbulb Nation is almost one year old! It's been an incredible year!!! Thank you so much for your love and support! You all are awesome! This blog would never be where it is today if it wasn't for your help! Have a phenomenal week! :D
